I just bought my first RC car.
If any newbies to RC cars from Sydney Australia
wants to meet up for a chat/lunch and driving practice or race
somewhere on the weekend send me an email.
Also, is there any RC clubs in Sydney/Parramatta/Bankstown
area? (Preferably friendly to newbies like me who arent
confident with taking their car apart and putting it back together
or building a kit on their own!!).
Any LHS in the area? I bought my stuff from Hobbyco in the city
which is a pain to drive.
Have a nice day!!

By the way the next issue of Racing Lines wich will be released on the 10th
of this month would be mainly for newbies to get to know their cars better
( im one of them ) and that magazine has taught me alot in the past 2 months
about the R/C world

Welcome to the hobby.
Racing lines has a list of clubs in the back. Dirt and track is another
aussie RC magazine, not as good as RL though.
I'm in Albury NSW BTW.

Thanks Alastair.
The http://www.nswrcrcc.org.au/ web site has got to be one of the worst
designed sites around. :) It's absolutely confusing.

Yup, it's fairly terrible. But hey I race in Queensland at the QRCCRA
http://www.qrccra.org.au/ club so there's nothing I can do about it. Just
thought you might like somehwere to race in Sydney.

Well, I just bought a couple of old RC10's and a bunch of spares. They
haven't even arrived yet, so I have even less idea of what I'm doing than
you do. :) I'm in southwest sydney, would also be interested in knowing of
any tracks around western sydney.
