Can anyone tell me how to take apart the 540 I want to clean it out haven't
done that since I bought it.

I'd also want to take a look at some of the componets in this motor to
determine if I should change motors yet (namely com and brushes).

They show a modifed motor in that picture

I want some help on taking apart the 540 which is the standard Tamiya motor
err the one you get with your kit.

No, that is an MVP stock motor which is a 540 size can. You must be talking
about a 540 motor with a sealed endbell. There is no reason to take those
apart, I would replace it with a motor that is maintainable.
