It makes a great little night flyer by adding a single white LED under the wing pointing up. Because the wing is translucent, the one LED lights up both the top and bottom of the wing.

This is a video with a faster aerobatic delta and flying wing with 12 volt Christmas lights. Christmas lights are bright from every direction and come in many colors. You have to specifically buy the 12V replacement bulbs.

The only problem is then you will want to build one...

I am into my 4th kite build, all the designs have worked well and fly well,, except the one built with cane, the design was fine.. but the cane is hard to use without getting warps, and so its flying was not what but I wanted.....

As yet I havnt had them out at night yet....not good weather here..
