Google Earth'd it the other night, and think I found our Dream Boat. Ruler feature shows it to be 65.83 ft long.
See if these coordinates jive with yours....

17o 46'16.87" N

64o45"35.33" W
Remember...If EITHER of us hit the big one....we're GOING to St.Croix
I'll paddle the old girl back if I can buy er'

When you go down to see her, better take LOTS of pingpong balls! Or styrofoam.

Believe me, if I go...there'll be two crated GM Diesels going with me. Friends are trying to get me to go on a vacation to St Marten, and it looks to be only 100 miles away from there. Hired Plane to the island. Its only 5 miles away from the airport.....Even if I went to take pictures, I could say I've seen it FIRST HAND.

Not having Google Earth able to run on this machine, I have to ask.

What is it? I see Miller has a push-pin in the middle of the ocean.

here's a close up of it in that sat. image you found:
http://response.restoration.noaa.gov/av_subregion_vessel.php?RECORD_KEY%28vessels%29=ve ssel_id&vessel_id(vessels)=1942

so, according to Bill the boat has been floated and towed to the other side of St. Croix already.

No hole in the side.

The SS Minnow had the hole in the side :)

I have the same size hole in my wallet when it comes to R/C boats.

<<Just imagine what your wallet would look like if you owned and had to maintain a FULL-SIZE boat---.>>

Well, my "full-size" Chris is only 20 ft long, and its not too bad. Getting new floors and subframes this winter, and a long overdue power wash of the bilge.
