Thanks for all the advice guys! The only problem is getting hold of
all the necessary parts here in the U.K.! As a follow up, if anyone
can suggest any god retailers in the U.K. selling E-Maxx parts (esp.
suspension) please let me know!

You can also use a spring and measure the frequency of oscillation
- this has the advantage of working in zero gravity.

IIRC, I was once told that this isn't quite true - apparently they
got the measurements slightly wrong, so a 1cc of water actually has
a mass of 1.000001 grams (or something! ;-)

Just a quick question, what if i replaced the standard body posts with
aluminium ones? Would this make much of a difference?

yes. It would cause your shock towers to shatter on rollover, and aluminum
body post will not straighten out after a crash.
