Does anybody use this covering? I have a Hyperion Cub that suffered a mishap. I got all the structural repairs done and am trying to re-cover just a few spots. I've used a lot of different coverings but this is by far the hardest I've ever worked with. It must have a "best temperature" for it to be worked with. I just haven't found it yet. What I am finding is that once I get it stuck down at about 200 degrees I have to go up to 250-300 to get it to shrink. That loosens the grip and it slides loose when shrinking. Several times I've come close to just stomping on the plane and tossing it in the trash. If I could find another brand of covering that at least came close to matching I'd use it for the repairs. The Hyperion is much darker than any other Cub covering out there though. Any tips on temps for using this stuff?

I have not used it, so no practical help, but I know the covering we got for the shop did not have this included. Don't know if it is any help, but does have tips:

It does say 100C to for it to stick and 120C to shrink.

Thanks! That's a HUGE help! Finally I have some temperature ranges to work with. I'll try them out tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have a little more success. I have a 21st Century covering iron so I can have pretty good control of the temperature.
