I could not sleep last night so I came in and mounted a airsoft gun on one of my MAV's.
I will regret this later, but here are my tests from this morning.

What MAV is that? Pretty cool that it can lift that payload. I'm sure you will get some flames for that, but not from me. I like it! :)

You know, I'm reminded of some other project I saw a couple years ago where a guy used a web cam + some image processing software to aim a b-b gun. Some how it seems like you could combine your two projects and have 4x the fun.

Thanks Dave -
I have been working on this MAV for about a year. We call it Pegasus.
It can lift a 7 lb payload (max 8 min). It also has a "garage" in the undercarrage where our ground based "scout" lives (RC truck with a camera on board). most of the info and video links are under the VTOL section of this site, most recently, my failed automatic chute deployment test:http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=772415
We are working on GPS and compass integration now. We are attempting to resist the Kalman filter, but are seeing that we are doomed to figure it out.

Now that you mention it, yes, I remember seeing that too! I wonder what carnage would result if I hooked the flight controls, or at least the gun controls to the Internet. I sure it would be fine. I will discuss this with the guys today and see it we can do something like that for RCgroups members.

You mean besides "osama"? Like one of the guys? I could ask Stu to run around the wearhouse while I shoot at him. If I get him to do it, I will post.
