Dose any one know anything about this motor? I know its realy cheap and they say it has 7,000 Watts of power. Dose any one have any idea on what prop to use and how many cells? I was thinking of using 12S2P 5,000 mAh each and Jeti spin 200 ESC.

Looks like a 12s motor. Could possibly be off of the same line as the ELE...has the same screwed-up prop adaptor system. If so, it's possibly decently-wound, but expect machining mistakes.

I dunno, I'm just not sure I'd chance any plane big enough to use this motor on discount stuff...but who knows, it might be great. Bottom line, it's not all that expensive, give it a try and report back to us. Good luck!

I have the 130kv version that i will be using on my 101" sukhoi kit with a 12s a123 pack, i have tested it with a 24x12 prop and a 10s lipo drawing about 50 amps with the oemrc Sentilon100A esc witch is good deal for the price of $100!

Where did you get $560 for the controller? A OEMRC Sentillon 100A costs less than $100!

That will only give you 2000 watts max, which is fine for "scale" flying, but I doubt you'll be happy with that kind of power (or lack of :)).

True but that was just a test, i will be running a 12s li-po and about 90-95 amps for about 3900watts.

I tested the same controller (oemrc sentillion 100a) with a large outrunner(axi 5345/18)
on 12s, it worked but suffered from prop stutter on throttle advance .
the oemrc is a great controller, I have several but on my larger planes that spin 20 to 24" props on 10s to 12s I have needed to use a jeti spin or newer hyperion esc that has a throttle delay feature.

just a comment - I use the sentillon wih an 5330. I had stutter on throttle advance too until I played around with the timing setting. I believe I used high advance and that put an end to the stutter

Hi Guys

It is good that motors have become so cheap, so that you can fit your model out with them and maybe change the esc from model to model.

Mass product always reduces the cost of items so now we are seeing the prices fall.
