I've got two Cisco PIX 506E's I have since retired from production networks that I don't need anymore. These are not the 3DES VPN units, but will support non 3DES site to site VPN.

Each unit comes with Power Cable (with transformer) and one NEMA-15 standard computer power cable. There is no console cable.

I will configure the unit to the IP and passwords of your choosing. So you can attach Ethernet1 to your internal network and telnet to the unit to configure it for your installation.

I am asking 250 each per unit. 260 shipped. I'll sell both for 450, shipped.

I am open to R/C heli and plank trades. Specifically looking for a 500-600 size heli airframe and/or parts to move me to flying a bird of this size (packs, gyros, spektrum receivers, etc)

If additional configuration help is required, for static or dynamic external addressing, DSL PPPoE configuration, site to site vpn using these two units, pre-set up with the information of your two remote networks, I'm certain something could be arranged, for a nominal engineering facilitation charge. :D

Dislcaimer: Site to Site VPN's require static external addresses, so sorry, you and your buddy probably can't use these to set up a permament VPN to each others houses for "image and video trading" and game playing. (There are much easier ways to do that). This is for business. Or people who want to learn. Or for mad scientists who need to construct firewall based brain cavities for their latest capybara/rhino/robocop creature. "It's ALLIIIIIVE!!"

Ahem...

These units are used, and were purchased new from CDW in 2005. They were pulled working from a network and replaced with higher end units. They sat in a nice, air-conditioned, power regulated co-located data center in Irvine, Ca. I am the original owner, and other than one command reference (which is available online), I have since tossed the paperwork and baggie that it all came in.

These units are running the 6.6 software utilizing conduits and statics, but can be upgraded to the 7.0+ that will allow the use of the PIX access lists. I don't like the access lists, either that or I'm too lazy to take the time to learn them properly.

If you'd like, I'm sure I can rustle up a PIX Command reference to go with at least the first unit. Maybe even a console cable. Act fast supplies are limited or something :D

Buy a Cisco PIX firewall today! The Cisco IOS is a ticket to financial freedom! If you can learn how to install this box on your home network, you can install them for people! Installing Cisco equipment has been very good to me, it can be very good to you too! Act now! <--- marketing.

Seriously though, If you have any questions, let me know. I can take pics and provide the proper model numbers of the units Monday morning. These are good units, and served me well.

I accept paypal, and have no problem meeting locally to show the units working and in good order.
