Guys
I would like too install altitude hold to my Mini Titan heli.
Problem is that it uses 120 degree CCPM for the swash plate ( 3 servo's) and the altitude hold pcb only controls one servo.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how this problem can be overcome?

You could get one of those eccpm mixers for guys that don't have the eccpm computer radios ... then the altitude hold controller could go on the collective and your fingers wouldn't know the difference (you would have to take out the eccpm on your radio for this to work). Good luck getting very nice altitude readings. An ultrasonic sensor would be a cheap way to go, but I think they only works on short distances...
Just thinking aloud. Hope the idea can go somewhere.

Thanks for the reply it is really appreciated.
I thought about a external mixer but can only find mechanical ones.
If anyone knows of a electronic one can you please post me the name or even better a link.
Thanks

Try searching for DIY eccpm mixer.

HeliHobbies has two options last I checked.
There are definitely a few more if you keep searching.

Is this one of the mixers that you are refering to on the helihobbies site.
I just need to confirm that it is 120 degrees before I purchase.

Hi Crash,
Yeah, that's the one I was referring to. As a disclaimer, I have done zero research into the unit and/or really thinking about the application, so you're on your own to make sure it does what you want (sounds like you're working that right now).
G'luck!

May I have a look at the altitude control your planning to use, Crash Pilot?

Thanks for your help. I will be taking full responsibility if it does not work. Don't know how I will go but I will give it a shot.

I will be trying the below altitude hold.
I will set the speed controller to govenor mode and use the altitude hold to controll the pitch of the blades.
Just dont now how the pressure sensor on the zlog will be affected by the blades chopping the air up around it.
