was toying with pulling a mold from a hull and was wondering if I could use 'johnson paste wax' as a release? tia

yes...make sure it is 100% carnuba

Rex, I use "Mother's" carnauba wax on all of my plugs and molds, followed by a sprayed on coat of PVA mold release. ;)

I haven't had a disaster in many years following that method---. :)

right, thanks much for the info. methinks it will be a while...life has a way of getting hectic.
