I hope I am attaching a photo of the underside of my old parkliner ecl. It is s400, 8 * 500AR gunther prop (OR ANYTHING SIMILAR) on off switched from control handle via relay in plane. Battery pack in wing. Lines are common plastic covered steel fishing line trace.
If not I will have to try again.

The picture works fine, thanks Bob but I'm going to move the thread over to the "Electric Control Line" forum (we need the traffic ;) ).

BTW what length lines are you flying on ?

Thanks Steve, it come to me later that I had posted in the wrong place! Too much excitement for me with the new toy (digital camera)!! The lines are about 10M (30 feet) from memory. I think that was mainly because I was able to obtain the wire in that length at a fishing shop.

Hi Ken, the dimensions and my observations can be found by using the search function in this forum for posts by robertc. There are two threads. "parkliner mk1" and "One successful electric control line formula" (a speed 700 model).
If you have any other questions I will be only too glad to help if I can. It has been some time since I flew this plane. My motor control was for flying in a public place without an assistant. If I was at a club field I just used a switch mounted on the planes with a fuse in case of nose over on takeoff and regular lines. I built a selectable cutout for a 'now deceased' friend so that the motor would turn off a definite voltage level. In practice I'm not sure if it was worthwhile as I have found that when the voltage level is sagging and the plane is loosing power I could bring the plane down and land and stall the prop and walk over and switch off without doing any damage to motor or battery and not blowing the fuse either.
