Laser cutting.

Not sure where else to post this, but this is the thread I post in/read most so here it goes.

I'm thinking about getting a 25Watt laser, the deal may fall through but I wanted to get an idea of what kind of interest there would be in cutting stuff for fees to help cover some of the cost of the laser.

is it a cnc? I was going to ask if you were going to cut by hand, but decided that wasn't funny.

Lots of places will do laser cutting. I'm not sure there really is a big market for it. I'd like to get some laser cutting done, but I have to design the plane first.

25 watts seems a little on the low side for cutting wood cleanly. Some laser cncs are made for engraving primarily.

It cut 1/4 ply pretty well, but like i said the deal may fall through and it did. :( Oh well you win some you loose some.
