I have been thinking about the next boat I want to build. I like to make things a little different or unique so I was thinking I would build the Dumas Skaddle too

http://www.dumasestore.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=47_58&products_id=417

and power it with a Graupner outboard z-drive with a speed 600 or maybe 700

https://shop.graupner.de/webuerp/servlet/AI?ARTN=1985

I was thinking of something really ambitious but I read the Trojan build threads and I just don't have enough time (or skill!) to build a boat like that. The Skaddle looks a lot easier.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Peter

There is a fellow who runs a Skdaddle in my club. I don't think it has a tall enough transom to support the Z-drive.

Actually, that is not a true outboard. That is an "outdrive".

But a good combo may be the Skdaddle with an outboard such as the GTX-650 or Hobbico EP-1.

To be on the safe side, I am going to order a few of the Dumas discounted boats.

I'm going to get

Deep Vee 20

Skaddle Too

And the Skaddle 20

I think the Deep Vee should have a transom tall enough to fit the outdrive.

It really is nice having the Canadian dollar higher than the USD!
