My friend owns a 7 litre hydro and needs something to blast around with. Electric or gas.
We bought 2 of those red plastic Knockoffs. They weigh a TON and leak.

So are there real running models of a 7 Liter Grand Prix available.

Nothing like 2 retireds putting prop marks on hulls.

Thanks for any help.

Have you looked at the UL-1 that BBYRacing.com is selling? I designed it based upon an Unlimited Light design (the Pocket Mechanic (UL-72) and Earls (UL-10)/Wildfire). I'm hearing a lot of interest in it as an N2 Sport model now.

Thank you Kmot & Andy.

They look pretty much like Marvins, Canadiana 222. Just need a engine cowl for the big blown Windsor engine.

Question. I can shape foam very well. Is there a big or noticeable difference between kits in finished hull only weights, of Blue Foam or wood or glass ?
Below are some of my foamies.

The 72" prop job solid foam weighs 3 # ....... Solid 80" A-10 is 4 #.

They all end up roughly the same by the time they're on the water. Most of the weight is battery and motor (or at least it was until LiPo became legal).
