In partnership with ASMBA (www.asmba.com), Hobby-Lobby is proud to begin a FREE APO/FPO Ground Shipping program to our troops overseas.

Furthermore, in honor of Veteran’s Day, Hobby-Lobby will donate 5% of ALL SALES to Fisher House (www.fisherhouse.org). This applies to all orders placed from Noon Friday, Nov. 9th through Monday, Nov. 12, 2007. Fisher House is a fantastic charity that supports the families of our troops in their time of need.

I'm not deployed right now, but I do remember the time I spent overseas and how much I enjoyed receiving cards, letters and care packages from home and folks who wanted to reachout to us.

I think that Hobby Lobby is doing a great favor for us, and for that I say thank you and you are welcome.

I ordered some stuff the other day (inclusing the new FlyCamOne, Version 2) and used my APO address, but since I'm retired and not on active duty any more, just an Army Civilian, I paid for my shipping. It's about time some of these companies started this. Now if we could only get more companies to ship to APO addresses! I have had to have so many items sent to my friends on the East coast so they could repackage it and send it to me for whatever reason...
