Guy's (and ladies ofcourse...)
We all talk how many flight's whe have done with our motor, lipo etc etc
Now tell me, do you count your flights, or even time them? And how?
I have a PDA/GSM and was thinking of a small c# program that eases the counting... This way next time my main motor goes dead I'll know how many flight's it has done
How do you guy's do it and are there others interested in such a program?
(It will most likely be a MS .net c# that runs on PDA and PC)
Post your idea's, comments etc!

I make a small (1.4" sq) data logger with a USB interface that tracks the voltage of each cell and overrides the rx signal to the ESC. That, in conjunction with the timer built into my transmitter, provides lots of data. There's no reason it couldn't be hooked up to a PDA to pull the data out and store it for later use.

Not that i do it, but my Hitec Optic 6 will keep track of how many minutes the throttle has been in use, if i wrote down that value every time i flew i would know the total time on my motor, batteries, etc.

Not that I do it, but know those that do. If it were compatible with something like the program below, and the Eagle Tree systems, I might have more incentive. But I wouldn't want another stand alone application, too many out there. Good luck!

I time my flights with count-down timer for AP flights or stopwatch for test flights to control power budget. For AP I want to finish and return at 50% battery capacity. That means ten minute flights during which I expose some 130 images, more than ample). And I fly with more peice of mind regarding safe return.
Testing a new flight package (plane and support and attachments) I want to find the time duration to 1/2 pack so I guess a number then fly for that period and finally note how much charge i put back in. Usually I guess close (from experience) but once it is calibrated my I fly by that result. Bill
