Installing Reflex on a new PC

I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to WinXP (Vista sometime in the next decade) I installed my copy of Reflex but it came up with the error that "No Direct 3d Driver has been found"

I attempted to install Directx from the Reflex CD but it just went straight past the installation process. Next I downloaded a full copy and installed that but I just get the same error when ever I try to run the sim, any suggestions

For reference, I fixed the problem by installing an older set of drivers for my AGP (Radeon 9550).
It appears that the latest drivers for this graphic card are not compatible with DirectX even though they say they are in the documentation.
