Dear Friends:
With an enormous dose of joy, we´d like to inform to all our Aeromodellers friends, the creation of the “ASSOCIAÇÃO PAULISTA DE AEROMODELISMO” (“Paulista [from São Paulo – Brasil] Aeromodelling Association”), result of the gathering of flying enthusiasts where the main characteristics are teamwork, camaraderie and the passion for flying.
The association is legally registered, with all the necessary entities and are responsible for it our colleagues Eduardo Flaquer, Carlos Flaquer, Cesar Aloisio Cippola, Edgard de Carvalho Calhelha and Rubens Sayegh.
But, the success of this enterprise depends on the participation of everyone, exactly the issue that made it possible. Without this group, with the engagement and teamwork philosophy for so long in practice, we would not have this initiative.
The existence of this Association, whose main objective is to promote the practice of all types of Aeromodelling, will grant us the formalization of the use of the Ibirapuera Dome and other areas from the Sports Complex “Constâncio Vaz Guimarães”, with the responsible Governmental Cabinet, “Secretaria de Esportes Lazer e Recreação”, as well as other flying spaces and also to seek patronage to promote and participate in various events within the Aeromodelling scenario.
In the future we will enroll our category with “COBRA – Confederação Brasileira de Aeromodelismo” (Brazilian Aeromodelling Confederation), wich will allow us to really take part in World Aeromodelling.
We´d like to remember that all indoor flying activities in the Ibirapuera Dome remain as is, with the actual set of rules and schedules.
For now, we call all Aeromodellers to participate with comments, suggestions, critics and ideas.
