I am pleased to announce that the CustomCDR EDF motor is now available..
This motor is based off the popular CustomCDR triple. It is proven to be the most powerful EDF motor in its class. It comes standard with an Edf extension that will allow a drop fit into the Alpha, XF and GWS fan units. The shaft is 3mm.
These motors are priced at $60 shipped. Please pm me for ordering info.
Here are some static eagle tree performance figures from this motor mounted in an Alpha fan unit with the 5 bladed fan.. I have also attached a graph from the data logger.

297 watts
43859
4s 2200 extreme at start up

Yep it goes fast, I have one in my Sabre. I'm lacking a five blade and an appropriate ESC right now so until then I can't fly it again.. :(

I just have the 5 blade alpha numbers for now, cause it seems to put the most load on the motor.. The others can only look better.. I am in the process of testing all the fan units and getting thrust and eflux speed off them as well..

I'll have to get one of those for my Flitzer. Probably need a different rotor too for the EDF55 fan, since I'm on my second with just a Himax 2025-5300. Blew one last week at only 240W. The plane's a bit tough getting going with hand launch. Could use massive power.

I've been keeping an eye open for just the right fan combo for my home made F-4 (http://cobrajet.rchomepage.com/f4/f4.html). A pair of these may just be the combo I've been looking for. :D Can't wait to read the thrust and efflux figures as well.
These are some pretty Fantastic numbers on a great looking little motor. I'll bet that the sound of two of these running in unison would just about make me weak in the knees. ;) Could one expect to be able to run these at the 550+ watt level for an entire flight?
