Trouble with FMS perspective

I can't get out of the mode where I'm chasing behind the plane. I have used it where I stand on the ground, but I have tried every control in sight with no luck. Any advice?

Menu, View, click on Chase Camera so the tick against it goes away.

Just hit the "C" key on the keyboard. It toggles back and forth.
