Hi All
Is there any good trimming guides out there for noobies that explained what each trim does and how it effects the Helicopter flight?
Thanks

Contrary to airplane flight, where the trims change with speed, a helicopter gets trimmed at the hover.
If your helicopter drifts in any direction, trim it to counteract the movement. That is assuming that your helicopter is balanced and there are no other factors affecting the "stability" of flight.
Your question is too broad, try narrowing it down.

...swashplate is level throughout from min to max throttle
...pitch guage reads 0 degrees at neutral
...max positive pitch = max negative pitch (i.e. +/- 10, +/- 11, +/-12 degrees)
...check your center of gravity (grab it by the flybar, skids should lift off at the same time)
...rotor blades have been statically and dynamically balanced and track
...tail feathers are balanced and tracking
...check and mechanically correct gyro drift (i.e. NO subtrims)
...check all your bearings for gritty rotation - replace if you find one
...pop the bird into a hover and see what she does when you let go of the controls...mechanically adjust the linkages until she flies as close to hands off as possible
if you were talking about the Tx trims though...
the horizontal trim on the left stick trims the rudder (yaw)
the vertical trim on the left stick controls your throttle
the horizontal trim on the right stick is for roll...i.e. roll right roll left
the vertical trim on the right stick controls elevator (i.e. pitch i.e. forward and aft rotation)
