Props!

Cool camcorder's shutter setting - or you have anti-gravity device + speakers for sound effects?
Really nice flying, but videos like that should be banned on this forum: it is too depressing what kids can pick up in such a short time. LOL (just kidding of course)

How many times did he have to crash to get to that point???
Alot of sim time?
I have been flying about the same amount of time but no 3d for me. I can hover in all orientations (skids down of course) do some forward flight and circuits. I guess maybe because I have to work to pay for all the parts and it hurts that much more every time I smash it up. I also have less than 30 minutes of sim time and started with an axe cp which didn't help
Nice flying though.

He flew a lot of sim time! I kept telling him that the sim was different than flying the real thing and he proved me wrong! Here's a video shot 10 days into his flying a 50 size heli.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6rsmecOi38
He started with a Co-Co lama, went to a Honey Bee II fixed pitch, flew a Revo CP a little then to the 50 size heli. I'll take a picture of the blades that he's used! About 6 crashes.

Meant to ask the same thing. It is really wonderful when kids are given such opportunity. BTW Great flying!

How long has he been flying planes before he picked up Heli's?
If not, his is for sure a prodigy kid flying like that in only a few months.

He flew a plank off and on for about a year before switching to helicopters. At the last fun fly event we attended he got to fly a 200 mph BobCat Jet! Lucky Kid!

Does your kid play alot of video games? I only ask because I have noticed that kids who play alot of video games fly very well, and I suspect it has to do with hand-eye cordination. Nice flying though, I am now going to go suck my thumb and cry, as I look at all my broken blades and such, lol.

Wesley's broken blade collection.
1 set from a bad auto, 3or 4 sets from dumb thumbs, 1 or 2 sets from tail failure.
Yes, he plays video games.
I think it's a combination of factors.
Video games, has a knack for it, loves flying!

A video we shot today. This is with a Neu 1515/2.5D/F motor. Took a few days to get the HV-85 programming just like we want it, but it was worth it! Pardon the wind noise, it was 15 mph out of the south!
