Used the 2.4Ghz version tx today, it worked flawlessly, didn't drop out once.
Now, can anybody tell me how to retrieve the sink rate data after pressing the up-arrow during flight...?

Hi Chris,
That's great news - glad things are working well!
The sinkrate capture feature is not yet supported. The capturing part is done, but not the post-flight downloading and analysis from the Dashboard.
One reason we haven't done this yet is that the data are all logged in much "richer" form in the recorder.

OK Bill, I can get a rough idea from averaging the sink rate dial playback
(Looks like about 200' per min, does that sound ball park?)

Hi Chris
In free flight, 1 ft per second is concidered very good, so yes, I would think something with 5 to 10 times the wingloading might well have 3times the sink rate ie 180 ft/min
FYI ... I set my sink rate at 200 , and climb rate at 60 for the vario beeps. Probably a little low on climb rate.
