FSOne Usb interface broken out of the box

Hello,

i got my FSone yesterday and spend a good part of the night trying make it work with my DX7 (i got both DSC cable and DX1000 wireless interface).

I never managed to make them work (i did evrything right on 2 different computers, but when i got to calibration i never saw any channel moving (i used JR8CH template) ....

Then i asked the friend who has FSONE and using his usb adapter it worked fine ......
DAMN i spend so much time trying to make it work because of this stupid 5$ usb adapter .....


i'll try to get it replaced but i live in europe so customs hell will begin again !
....

Hi Klochto,
I got the program in about March and concluded after a while that the wire between the little black box and my real Tx had an intermittently bad connection at the connector. Bottom line is I called the help line,sent them the wire and they sent it back to me no problem and no charge ... but I'm in north america. Send the wire/connector in, you'll be glad you did.

Hi,

in my case its not the cable but the black box it self , as i tryed with 2 cables and none worked , but when i tryed with another "black box" from a friend , it worked fine .


I'll try to get it replaced in uk because if i have to send the whole box back it will cost me more than the simu it self .

Maybe call them first to see if they'll help you out. Can you just exchange at a LHS? A couple of the customer service guys are pretty good. I think one is a guy named Andrew? I had to write a letter to send with the cable explaining the problem.
