Hello.
I'm mostly a sailplane guy but I just got my hands on a beautiful 1:5 Piper Cub less electrics.

I'm hoping ot use a Jeti Phasor 15/4 motor in it with a 2:1 reduction and swing am 11/6 or so prop. Motocalc says this will fly it at around 30 amp draw which the motor can handle and not exceed 20k rpm on the shaft.

Does anyone have an opinion on this setup? The plane should come in around 7 pounds or so..maybe less.

Also. Can I get away with using HS-81 servos for elevator/rudder?

I really want to use the Phasor motor because I already have it and want to keep the cost WAY down on this. If I have to buy another motor, I may loose my aviation funding authorization due to excessive expenditures :)

thanks for any opinions.
