Our "Octopus" charging adapter is now in stock in the accessories page of our website. It allows the charging of several types of plugs from banana connectors, and has an extra set of leads so you can add your own connector preference as well.

Good idea.

I have one suggestion. Find something to cover the Deans Ultra pins while not using it and include it. Exposed pins wouldn't be good while you are charging off another connector.

It could be two pieces of fuel tubing over the pins, an official "Common Sence RC" balloon, but seriously a female Deans with the other end closed with silicone and a small string to keep it connected to the wire when it isn't on would be cool.

Hmmmm

I'm curious if you talked to Don Shulman about this...it is pretty much an exact copy of a product he sells with the same name.

Actually, if you poke around all the different RC stores from China on the 'net you will find that this is a 'new' item.
Good idea to bring in to North America Common Sense RC !!

Good idea if it is cheap enough...

At least until that open Deans connector does some welding for you.

And it either has 5 or 10 legs/arms (depending on how you count), that would make it a squid not an OCTOpus.

Are you referring to "Leon's Spider" over at Shulmanaviation.com?

At $11.95, i think its not only cheaper, but more convienient to have an all in one cord. Less likely to misplace one. Last night I had to dig around for my seldom used rx charger cord to do a fast charge on one of my radio's and ended up having to use the normal wall charger after switching out the drained pack into my backup radio to charge and putting its pack into the 9303 so I could fly.

I agree that the cap for the ultra plug is a must-have, and that's why our unit has one included. :D

We're updating the picture and description on the site now.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are you plugging the banana plugs into? If I have the CSRC Digital Balancing Charger, how would this adapter help me?

Those that use the Triton Series charges would really benifit from something like this. I dunno have may times I have been at the field and a buddy asks, "Hey you got this type of connector?". I know I have it somewhere.....DOH! I left it at home.
