Hi guys,

We're selling our backup camera.

Wife originally bought two of them to use primary/backup for real estate but never ended up using them (uses a light powershot instead).

I took it upon myself to use it in the air and continue to use it.

We never use the backup and are cleaning up our little apartment to make up some more space.:)

If any of you are interested, here's the ebay link :

Nikon8400
Battery/Charger/USB cable
Sandisk III extreme 4GB CF card
Generic .45 lense /adapter
Carry bag

Thanks,
Jesse

Bump. :)

Anyone thinking of getting into aerial photography, this is a great camera.

Image quality with the Nikor glass and the wide angle native lens makes this a unique point and shoot.

You can also buy them used when listed on amazon.com for $699 and up.

We've decided that we'll ship outside the USA as well.

Just send me a PM/email for a shipping quote.

The box is 10.00inch x 8.00inch x 8.00inch weighing 6 lbs.

Jesse

Meh. These things happen. At least Ebay will refund my listing. A whole $3 bucks.

Looks like a lot of bidders(13) and watchers(42). :)

Maybe this time someone normal will buy it.

Someone normal WANTS to buy it... (at least I'd like to consider myself normal, but most folks I know would argue...)

Can you give me an idea of what it sold for last time? Trying to gauge if I'll be able to 'get in the game'.

Would really like to get a 'nice' digi-cam instead of the 'pocket click and shoot' thingies we've gotten in the past.

Hi Mike,

To be honest, I'm not certain.

I left for the day and when I came back (after the auction ended) there was nothing in my 'my ebay' sold.

I went to ebay help online and chatted with one of the their security/tech people. Gave him my info and he said to check my email.

This is the email I received :

"We have cancelled the listing(s) to maintain the integrity of the eBay site, your account, and the bidder?s account that was accessed. We are working to restore the bidding account to its rightful owner, and we are working with the account owner to prevent any additional unauthorized activity. Since the account owner did not initiate these bids, all fees resulting from the listings in question will be credited to your account within 7 days. If you do not see the credits posted to your account after 7 days, please feel free to contact us through ?Contact Us? in our Help section.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to automatically relist these items for you. Instead, to relist these items you will need to start from the beginning of the listing process, either through the "Sell Your Item" process or through your third party listing service. We know that this is an inconvenience and we apologize for the negative impact it may cause you. We are working on tools to allow you to relist your items without starting from the beginning, but they are not available at this time."

The highest bidder's account was apparently used by someone else to place high bids on a lot of ebay items in the past 24 hrs.

Mine was one of them and when I emailed the seller, I received an email from Nigeria wanting to send a personal cheque. I replied back with a not so nice email.

The thing that ticks me off is that I had PM's with other fellows wanting to bid/buy it and this scammer bids the highest, gets my auction closed and I have to start over again.

I don't feel too bad though because I looked at other auctions this scammer bid on and some where in the $1,000's.

Anyways, it's a great camera and I'm not certain what it will go for. It would depend on how much others are willing to spend on it.

Good luck if you're bidding. :)

Jesse
