No, you don't have to land right side up. If you're either very inventive, or very rich, you can either put another set of wheels on the back, or crash and buy another plane!:D

Just wanted to see what it was like inside here. Very empty. There is an echo. Listen: "HELLO" "hello" "HELLO" "hello"

Up,up.

Just for your interest there is a bloke on the Direct 280 thread who lands his plane upside down because he has broken too many props landing it right way up.

Landing it upside down, the twin fins protect the prop.
The fin tips are protected with PP tape.

Cheers. Patrick. :) :D

Mumble,

I just knew that somewhere there would be a nut who'd done it!:D But on a Dazzler? I've seen the Dazzler come in for landings, and it is very tricky right side up. I'd like to see this guy land his Dazzler inverted.

OK, OK, just realised it's not a Dazzler:rolleyes: . It's a Whazzup. But still, with that wing profile, it must be very nervous landing...

Up, up, Its not as hard as you'd think doing an inverted landing. Just practice by doing flybys about 1' above the ground with the plane just above stall speed, I do this with my E3D no problem. Its you don't want to land inverted, just whip around half an ouside loop and land the other direction. :D Thats a blast, and a real crowd pleaser.

It sure would be a great crowd pleaser! I saw someone try to do that with a Dazzler, and he got a bit cocky. High speed, low level, inverted pass, and halfway down the runway he wanted to roll out. You know the "up is down, and down is expensive"? He rolled out into the concrete. The fuse and wing just disintegrated, and the engineblock broke in four pieces.

The only thing I could tell him? "At least there wasn't a large crowd watching..." :(

Ya know, now that u mention it, it does look like a Dazzler. I'm going to need a bigger basment. But I may just order a plane from hsrcm. Don't know yet.

Get the HSRCM plane if you want performance good performance, and 3D capable. The Dazzler/Uproar is really just a sport plane that wants to be a fun fly, that is not to say that it couldn't win a FF comp, but I think you'd be happier with a plane from HSRCM or Morris.

I see some footprints on the floor so I know there's been SOMEONE else here before me.... :D

I've got a twin boom electric stunter that I've flown in the snow on a couple of occasions. It's got a chin mounted air scoop for the motor and batteres. To keep from soaking up the snow I landed it upside down on the big fat canopy and twin fins. Worked like a charm. And the looks on the other fliers when I did it the first time was priceless.... :D

Heck, it was just so practical to do it that way. I'd probably do it that way on really soggy grass too.

Interesting looking plane. Looks almost "Magical" ;) Does she fly any different than a stock Magic?
