What do you do when the 1/2 turn min adjustment on the pitch rod moves
a blade from 10mm lower to 10mm higher !?

Blades were balanced statically BTW

Look for slop elsewhere in the system. The "washout" unit between the
swashplate and rotor hub has been known to contribute to the symptoms you
describe. Any other arms (bell/hiller mixers, etc.) that might have some
slop in them will also contribute. Everything in the control system should
move as freely as possible but have "no free play" at any point in that
movement. If you find any ball links that are overly tight or any
notchiness or binding, that could be part of your problem too!

Sounds like the feathering shaft is bent, or you've got worn out
dampers. (or both)

FWIW - the linkage from the grip to the mixer arm works ok for
"coarse" adjustments while the link from the swash to the mixer arm is
good for "fine" adjustments.

Thanks guys - fairly new to this so learning as I go.

I guess I should have said its an ESKY CP Belt. I stripped it down
today, and tightened / checked everything. Only suspect part now is
some vertical play in the swashplate main bearing. Reset and test
flown, I still can't quite get the tracking spot on - the only
adjustment is in the pitch rods and it's too corse!
