Hey Bob,

Ordered one of these recently for a Supersportster EP on your recommendation. Great motor for the money. Zips the SSEP around the sky on half throttle or less with great flight times on 2100 mah 3S lipo. Using a 10X7 electric prop, maximum current measured on the bench is 18A. Power measured at slightly over 200W full throttle with a fresh battery. (Slightly over the rated max. 200W...wouldn't run it full throttle long with this prop).

Combine this with the 40A esc and you have a great combo for just over $40...that's hard to beat. I will be ordering a couple more soon for a couple of other similar sized planes I have.

Do you think one of these would be ok on a Mini Ultra Stick??

Jimw1956; The 2217-9 motor will put out 30+ozs thrust on 10x7 - 3cells
at about 18 amps. The all up weight of the Ultra Mini Stick is 20 to 25 ozs.
Performance should be fantastic.
