My ? is if i want to solder another 12 gauge wire to make a " Y " harness, where would i solder the other wire to; 1 -solder the principle wire to sermo 2- bare the 12 gauge principle wire up about 1" and solder the pigtail to that and shrink wrap the splice. Reason is to solder 12 gauge wire in sermos can hold only 1 - 12 gauge wire only. Now if you try to solder 2-12 gauge wires to a sermo insert, you have to dremel grind just to insert into sermo cover. Any thoughts.? Now if you buy, they won't use 12 gauge but a lesser gauge wire and headaches. Idea; if i use 10 gauge and solder 12 gauge to 10 gauge, would it be worth while for 14 volts?

If you get yourself some of the 45 amp contacts I believe you could solder both 12Ga wire ends into the contact.

Sermos contacts come in many sizes, just in case you were not aware.
