Easy enough,

2200mah will not harm anything other than AUW.

'C' rating is calculated from output ability in amps against capacity and should be the batteries ability to deliver constant amps so 10c of a 2200 battery is 10x2200 = 22amps constant.

If your heli needs say 20 amps to fly then a 10c 1250 will be no good but a 10c 2200 will be ok, but for long cycle life it is best to only use half of the c rating for flight so a minimum 20c 2000-2100mah is the way to go for duration and life and for all out lightweight performance in say 3d then 1250mah 25/30c is the way to go.

For helicopters and high performance airplanes you need high c ratings and quality batteries, i would look at Flightpower, Hyperion and Thunderpower who now have 25 and 30c constant batteries made from the best cells from the company Enerland.

Another factor of c ratings is c burst ratings which are the batteries ability to sustain amps for short periods and best left for another day as in your case the most important is the constant c rating. These 'burst' and 'climbout' ratings can be high like 50c-60c on the above mentioned batts, but if used will diminish cycle life hugely and are best left for all out competition flying.

When charging use 1c ie. 2.2amps for 2200mah and do not use more than 75-80% capacity when flying to get long cycle life (most use cheap parking or kitchen type countdown timers to establish flight times) and use a balancer or balance charger, lcd screens are best for telling charge capacities etc. but cheap ones will do the job.
