I liked my Rascal 40 conversion so much that I had to have the 110. Power is an AXI 5330/F3A with a Jeti Advance Plus 90 with Falcon Pro Series lipos. AUW is 13 pounds 12 ounces. Maiden should be this weekend.

Sorry, chores and to much Texas wind. Will try again next weekend. I actually have a total of 4 new planes to maiden, a VecJet, a Lil' Rascal, an AXI SlowStick and the 110! I will report back.

Send me a round trip ticket (buisiness class is fine), and I will come down there and help you fly all them planes! :D

I can't, I'm broke from buying all those planes. By the way, the Slow Stick with ailerons and AXI power was an absolute blast to fly. 1 down, 3 to go.

I was finally able to put it up today although the winds were gusting 8-12. The 10 minute flight was majestic and as flawless as I could make it. The AXI F3A was kept at 1/2 throttle or less for most of the flight. Take-off was a surprise as it lifted at 1/2 throttle way before I thought it would. The stiff breeze may have accounted for that on the 110" wing. It looped easily and rolled axial left and right but the rolls are slooooooow!. I dialed in some differential and a bit of rudder and the plane behaves well and looks very scale like. Low slow fly-bys are incredible as the pilot figure is easily seen and because this plane is huge. I did not get carried away as the wind was gusting so I kept it well under control. Absolutely no 3D stuff. When i set up for landing I cut all power and had to coax it down with down elevator as it just keeps flying un-like anything I have ever flown before. This plane may need some spoileron to discourage it from floating on and on. The wind was coming from the NE on the N-S runway and it weathervaned slightly into the wind and the first touchdown was a left wheel only deal for about 15 feet. It looked cool and was easily controlled. I am totally satisfied with this "Big Bird" conversion. I now have 3 of the 4 Rascals with the 49" one coming from my wife as a Christmas present. I'll post a family portrait when it is finished. Rascals are as fun to fly as they are good to just look at.

After 2 more flights I am happy to report that this plane has no faults unless you want fast movements after control inputs. It takes its' time and responds well to all control movements including what I said before and also effortless field wide knife edges. It will lock in for as long as you can hold it. Hovering is also easily done. The power is massive. I like this plane!
