Has anyone had a slight haze around the decals after the solvaset has evaporated?
How did you remove it?

There is a discussion on the footyusa yahoo group. about that here is some answers :
Depends on whether the Decals have had a clear coat applied.
If not using a simple Citrus Extract, we call it "Goo Remover" in OZ,
should do the trick.
Orange Oil should do a good job of removing the sticky residue.
Eucalyptus Oil works well also.
Remember to thoroughly clean away any residue with soapy warm water ..
Don't want the solution causing more problems later.
Careful with acetone, it's really strong and will probably dull your
gelcoat.
Best bet is mineral spirits (paint thinner), lift the decal edge,
brush some on, it should start to dissolve the glue. Once the decal is
fully off. Dampen a rag with the mineral spirits to clean up the hull
of remaining glue.
Another method is to use heat to soften the glue, so you can pull the
label away. Hot water may do the trick. You can use a heat gun or hair
dryer, just be ever so careful you don't soften, melt the hull so it
deforms. I'd use the mineral spirits.

Orange Oil was the end product used to remove the Sticky Residue from Decals.
Careful if you want the decal to remain in place. Might need to Dilute and use a clean rag before rubbing gently around the edges.
Make sure there are no air gaps that any solution can get under and weaken the gum on the decal.
If you're not sure do a test run on some scrap first.
Citrus Extracts are one of the best and cheapest gum removers going around & they don't seem to eat into the finish.

unless I'm reading it wrong...the person doesn't want to remove the decal just the haze from the solvaset

Guy's, Rex R is correct. It's "was" a haze left around the decal "area" after the solvaset evaporated . Some guy's at the steel navy site mentioned to spray it with Testors Dullcoat. I did and it works, the haze has disappeared.
Thanks for all the help! Appreciate it.
