OK I doing A build thread for James and so far here is what I have done!

The kit I started with was one of the ARF units pre-built and pre-covered wings and control services. All I have done so far is in the pictures below.

I shot a video from the madian today I have to move the wing a little forward I want the plane just a tad tail heavy so I can turn her into a slow flying aileron rolling machine.

I will post the link as soon as its uploaded

I thought it looked a little nose heavy.

Yes it was I had the wing at 6" mark did not how she was going to handle so I always try my first flights a little nose heavy!

Otherwise what a great plane rolls nice, did 4 tight loops in the middle of the video in a row going to move the wing up to the 5" mark and see how she handles.

Now I know what to expect will have to find the perfect CG

I recommend 1" back from the spar for advanced pilots. You can go a little further if you want to hover it. You will know you have the perfect CG when inverted requires no elevator.

Thanks for the tip! I will move the wing to 5" from the front of the stick and then check the 1" behind the mail spar.

Part of the fun is the tweeking and once you get it mastered wow flying is so fun!

I like the control horns. Were they supplied with the ARF?

They are now. Some ARFs went out with GWS horns. Now I am using the Dubro Razor horns.

If you want to kick your GWS slowstick in the butt and you decide to buy any upgrade kit and I have built them all this is by far the best performance upgrade out there. the light weight wing and control service work real well with the GWS setup! I built mine using a bp12 motor I had laying around also went with a GWS prop 1047 slowfly version (setup in the video) dualsky 12-15amp brushless ESC 3 cell 11.1 volt 1320 mah lipo and she flys perfect.

Al I have to do is move my CG around a little and this will be a great setup. thanks again James!

Ok I moved the wing forward to a little right at 5" from front end, I slide the Elevator and the rudder servo back about 2" now my CG is about 1/2" behind the main spar thats where I will try my next Test FLight!
