Who sells scale 5" wheel with ball bearings?.. it is for 28lb Airshark P40, the existing wheels have too much drag from the weight for easy rolling and takeoff without nosing over.

hermperez,
You do not need wheels with ball bearings.
It could be you are using plastic hub wheels. They will heat
up and start to drag over time. If not, put a small amount
of oil or grease on the axles and you should be fine.

Check with Sierra or Skyshark, they have Scale Wheels that
work fine with the P-40.

I think they have brass bushings already.. these are all metal wheels, it is a skyshark P40, with sierra retracts.

28 lbs is very heavy for this airplane. If you are having a problem nosing over, you need to check your CG. It sounds like the plane is very nose heavy.

put some oil in the bushings and that helped.. after looking at it, it is easy to replace the bushings with bearings.. just take the bushing to a ball bearing house and let them measure it. Increasing up-elevator travel also helped.
