Hello guys,
I hope I can get some advice on what to do on several problems I am having with the following setup:

Motor: Actro 60-175
Batt: 11S 7500mah Lipo
ESC: Kontronik Power Jazz
Prop: APC-e 24-12 & Mejzlik-e 26-15

OK here is the story of this setup. I was intending to use this setup on a 87" Yak that it has been completed for about a year.
At the beginning I bought an Actronic 120 to use with the motor but when I got the Mejzlik 26-15 the motor at 1/4 throttle it would stutter. So I changed to an APC-e 24-12 and it would do the same. (I know for a fact that Jocke had used this same motor with a Jeti spin 200, 12S and the 26-15 Mejzlik succesfuly).
So I contacted the guys at Actro in Germany (Frank Kohler) and they tell me to send back my controller for an update. This was on April this year so I send it, it has been supposedly ready by June and now they don't answer my mails or have had any contact with them. Till this day I have not received my controller or even an e-mail from them. I have tried to reach them through Jocke, as he tests some of their new stuff, (THANKS!!) but I have not heard from them either. This has been tiring to say the least. And very disappointing!!! :(

Well tired of that situation, I go and buy a Kontronik Power Jazz and it does the same thing with the propellers!!! :( The only one that did work was an Ultra 3 bladed 22-10 propeller but does not have the power required. I am currently waiting for the Prog-card as the guys at Kontronik told me to play with the settings...

With this happening now I am beginning to think that the problem might be elsewhere...

Could it be the motor???

Now, the batteries are 3 packs of 3S3P 2500 mah and a 2S3P pack. They all have (75 AMP) Anderson Powerpoles that should be more than enough as these are underrated as I understand it...

Could it be that the problem lies in the batteries??? :(

I don't know what else to do and this project has cost me quite a bit of money and a lot of time...

Any advice, help, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,
Homero

Hi
It is not the motor, the Power JAZZ cant handle the actro 60 im afraid, maby only on low load, the absolute best controller to handle the actro 60 and have no trubbel on high load, acceleration and max power is the Jeti SPIN controllers, you need 30degree of fixed timing on 8khz, depending on voltage and load you could need trottle delay, the SPIN controller have proven to be best option for outrunners, this is from many tests on bigger setups with outrunners and diffrent controllers for about 3years.

Kontronik havent tested the Power Jazz on any big motor/ outrunner, ive asked them many times, for example when Jeti relese a new controller type they test it on many diffrent setups/ motors and to the absolute limit to be asured, in this case not Kontronik, if they want to they could make a softwere shange and it would work good on low res low KV outrunners like the actro.

I have talked to Frank a few times regarding controller problem on the actro 60, they have made many uppgrades and changes to there bigger controllers, mainly softwere but also more memory and faster signal priocessors to handle the actro 60 better, i think that when you get your uppgraded actronic it will power you motor fine, im also awaiting an improved uppgraded actronic for test.

Hi Jocke, so do you think that my Actronic controller has not arrived because of upgrades and changes to my ESC? If this is so, then they could have at least written me about this and I would be less anxious...
Do you think you can provide me with a telephone number where I can reach Frank Kohler or anyone at aero-naut Modellbau so that I can a least give them a call and see what is happening. I just don't want to think that I have lost over 500€ when I bought the controller...

Well at least I am already waiting for my SPIN 200 to arrive and see if the 60 stops stuttering and finally I can make this happen.

Do you think it would be possible for them to at least reimburse me the cost of what they sell those controllers, as I will not be using mine anymore? I will be having the SPIN 200 so I will have no use for the Actronic. Maybe this is reasonable at least...

Or if anybody who lives in Germany and has frequent contact with aero-naut and could help in this situation I would greatly appreciate this help.

Thanks and best regards,
