Has anyone modified the Realflight transmitter to remove the notching in the Throttle? Can you provide a brief How-to?

I've done this to my Heli transmitter (E-sky) and would like to do it to the Realflight transmitter if I can do it and not screw it up. On my heli transmitter I just flattened out a small steel spring so it would no longer drop in the small notches on the Throttle Cam.

Thanks for the tips!

I took the transmitter apart last night and it is an easy mod. Remove the 4 screws holding the back on. Leave the transmitter face down and remove the screw holding the spring on the throttle. Remove the spring and flatten the TIP area of the spring with a hammer or pliers. Then slip a piece of electrical heat shrink over the tip. If you like you can use a piece of sandpaper to smooth the surface of the Cam. When finished: put a small amount of Silicon grease on the cam surface. Replace the spring and you're good to go. Transmitter then works like a Heli transmitter. Smooth travel on the throttle.
