Getting ready to build a Herr Pitts Special and curious as to what model of fuel tank folks use?
Going to be using an OS .15 LA. Pondering anywhere from a 2oz to 4oz tank.
Don't yet have the kit so not sure how large the tank opening is.
Appreciate any input.

4 oz unless you want just a few minutes of flight time.

Which tank model? I've read that this space for the tank is on the small side so I want to order a tank which will fit.

Measure the amount of space you have to work with - your plans will provide you with this information by looking at the top and side views and using a scale - then start looking at the dimensions of tanks to see which one will fit best. You may have to modify the fuel tank area to get a tank to fit. No big deal, it's done all the time. Just make sure to add a bit of reinforcement if you have to remove too much material.

Trying to order the tank with the kit.
No biggie though... think I have an idea of which tank to order.
Thanks,
