I just cant figure out what to open to use it! there's no icon thing to click like FMS, just a bunch of useless(to me) crap, but it's all still there.
i just can't figure out what to click to run the damn thing! :mad:
FMS got boring... i want to slope!!!
Help!!!

I don't have this program so this suggestion is general & not specific.

You could try something amazing like looking for it in "programs" which you will find if you click the start button - normally bottom left of the screen. A double click should get it going. Might be listed either as the program name or under the publisher.

If not look for the folder in Windows explorer under programs & see if there is an .exe file to double click.

buddy i know how to work a computer... i'm a 14 year old that spends alot, ALOT, of time on the computer. i've looked everywhere! i can't find it!
i'll try again to find a .EXE file, but i dunno if i'll be able to...

i got it to work but how do i switch aircraft?

You don't have to go through a little DOS thing (whatever that is!!). Just double-click on sss.exe, or one of the files in the "batch_files" directory.

Anyway - when it starts it actually displays some tips for you:

Demo mode - press 'a' to turn the auto-pilot off/on

and then lower down:

'h' to toggle the on-screen help
'c' to toggle the configuration window

So - run it, press c, and it should open a new window that lets you configure various things, including what glider you're flying.

However... on some computers this configuration window doesn't appear if SSS is running full-screen (some bug not in my code!!), so if 'c' doesn't appear to do anything, make sure you haven't gone to full-screen mode.

well by the dos thing i mean the little black box with writing in it, that's the same as dos.
i found the batch files, thanks! much better and easier now. dynamic soaring is hard.
