I'm a bit suprised to not find this here... sticky or otherwise :(
Can anyone give me a rundown (or link to a site) that describes the recommended skill sets one should get comfortable with to go from learning to hover to going full 3D?
For example, I can hover pretty well as a newbie with the tail always facing me. What should I work on next, hovering the heli with the nose facing me? Or practicing pirouettes? What skills should I have down before my first loop or roll? Which of those should I try first, or should something else be first?
The hardest thing for me right now is to try and figure out how to control my Axe CP when it is not facing away from me. Do you try to put yourself in the cockpit no matter what attitude your heli has and fly like that? Or just learn to fly it from any attitude?
For experts I'm sure they don't need to think about stuff like this, but for a beginner like me, it would be really helpful to have some sort of guide with goals!
Thanks,
Bryan
