But I know what you mean. Steam just isn't as popular in the US as it is overseas.

A Google search for the "Lady Margaret" steam launch took me to your thread going back to May. Nice post by the way. Well, I have the Lady Margaret hull AND I have a line on a nearly new Cheddar Proteus steam engine. A collector has one for sale for, well, let me put it this way...plenty. Before I shell out the buck$, I thought I might check with you for any sage advice you might have for this fairly new steam head. Where did you find your steamplant? What do you think is a fair price for a Proteus today? It seems to have taken on "collector" status since Cheddar went out of business. Who makes a good subsitute for this engine? Might YOUR setup be for sale? :D Just thought I'd ask.

Thanks in advance,
Don
