I am new to electric flight and finding it hard to understand like LiPo's, DPR's, etc. I'm a slowly learning about electric side of things but DPR readings are dutch to me. It is nice to know how to look after your equipment but I can't. All the info readings is a strange new world to me.- any suggestions. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=344#

Hi One Hand, welcome to the rc groups, i am very much like you, i have flown models for some time now,but i am very new to the electric stuff, i have found that if i have any questions about any of it, i post my query in the electric flight forums on here, or i will phone up brc hobbies, they are certainly very helpful to me and they put up with my inane ramblings, LOL!!
As for books, i have not bothered with any books on the subject, i have found almost any info i need or require just by asking other modellers either on here or at my club site. So i am sorry that i have not provided an answer to your query, but i think that you can pick up a lot more info by speaking to others, rather than just sitting at home reading a book about it!
All the best,

Andy.

Hi One hand - it all depends what you need to know, books are great to lookup but i find them fairly vague as the info is generic rather than specific.

Try this forum on Rcgroup http://www.rcgroups.com/beginner-training-area-electric-8/ The questions you want are more than likely already answered, if not post the question, theres always someone who will know.

Good luck...

Dom.... :D
