I have two large wood electric pond/lake boats that my son an I ran when he was smaller.

the hulls are 26" long and 12" wide.

They are stable, they come set up with standard drill type speed 700 motors and the hobby lobby/graupner running gear and props (direct drive with universal joints and shafts to the props.

I was running astroflight escs in both and standard servos for steering but are not included.

They both run well and do not leak, one is red and one is black

they come with the stands.

I will not ship, these are available for pick up in raleigh nc only as the shipping is cost prohbitive due to the size of the boats.

35 bucks each or 50 for both...these are great to get your kids into the hobby.

Picures to come.

Hey guys

stock these do about 10-12 mph in the water with the stock motors but you can put a bigger or faster wind motor in with no issue the mounts and hardware will accommodate up to a cobalt/

as of today, the boats are both still available.

Several PMs regarding the speed. .

as best I can say - from the stock set up...these boats do somewhere around 15 mph with a 7 cell battery.

The motors I have in these are not designed for speed but more run time ...replacement motors are cheap in the grand scheme of things, you can set it up for whatever you want . . the hulls should handle bigger motors but these are designed more for fun with the kids than racing.....they are fast enough to make it fun but not so fast that they loose control of the boat.

Once they are yours - you can change out whatever you want. :D
