Last Pt Boat Pt-812

EXPERIMENTAL ALL ALUMINUM PT-812,THE LAST AND LARGEST PT,WAS BUILT BY THE PHILADELPHIA NAVY YARD. OVERALL LENGTH WAS 105 FEET AND THE BEAM WAS 21 FEET. SHE OPERATED 1954 TO 1959 IN MOTOR TORPEDO SQUADRON 1 (POST-WAR RON 1) UNDER THE NAVYS OPERATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FORCE.
