Check this post and the threads mentioned there, Tincho:

Edit:
By the way, wind is not a problem at all for the quads today, here a video with the comparison of a commercial MD (Microdrone for approx. 20.000 € !) as the police is using in UK and a homemade Mikrokopter for about 600 €.

LOT of wind, wasn't it :D ?

In the meantime there is an automatic tilt compensation for the camera implemented in the open source firmware of the Mikrokopter.

Cheers,

With the 400g payload, the German quad is definitely improved since the Roswell flyer & the dragon eye. They also probably have the least vibration. Still unanswered: maximum yaw rate, flight time Yaw authority still seems 2 B limited.

The low cost heli's are shifting from pure payload capability to aerobatics & smaller size, leaving ever more expensive Maxi Jokers & TRex 600's for those who want large payloads. The cost increase is making hand built fixed rotor craft more attractive.

One can get a relatively cheap Draganflyer and go brushless (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6195100/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm). The payload increases, significantly, but the other issues remain (wind, etc.).

Great looking video, well done.

I think I would be confused as to which way the thing is flying.

I will put one on my wish list. Not sure if I'll be able to sneak it past the wife yet!!
