I was lucky enough to take my lunch break at Seaport Village along San Diego Harbour. Today (Wednesday) was the first day for the Red Bull Air Races in San Diego. I've lowered the resolution to allow for faster uploads/downloads.

You are right, it is very cool. I was lucky enough to see the London leg of this years championship I was utterly amazed at the G those guys pull on the turns. Quite Impressive!

Was this a free practice day or did not many spectators show up? I wanted to fly out for this event but I decided to go to the NEAT fair instead.

This was a practice day... Wednesday & Thursday are the practice dates.

Looks like it's going to rain here Friday and/or Saturday... NEAT fair and being dry might be the better choice when you can watch it on TV....

But it is cool to see in person.

It was a great event! I hope San Diego does its best to make this a long term relationship!
