I think it would be great for all those who are graduating from FF and FFF to "3D" to have some hints on what not to do.
Here is a no brainer. Well no brainer for some.
I have seen it done, one of my flying buddies finally grew the balls and decided to try a flip, however he was in normal mode and not stunt.
Needless to say it ended up with a trip to the LHS.
So, if trying inverted stuff, make sure you are not in normal mode.

If your just doing a flip you can be in normal mode. Most of us have normal mode set to give at least 5 degrees of negative anyway and that is more than enough to flip with. Just don't hold it inverted ;) The only thing about normal mode and doing flips is to remember that your throttle curve is set too low below half stick so make sure you finish your business quick before you loose too much head speed. :)

Hehe... I did this once on day 2 of flipping... didn't even realise it until later... glad I had some neg built into "normal" mode, and was pretty high up when practicing those first flips. Haven't done it again, though :)

Here's my best tip:
When you're done flying and you have just one pack left and you get that urge to do "just one more go!" ... Don't.

Flying without loctite.....
I thought i did everything, but the one thing i forgot to loctite went soaring into the distance and the heli went soaring into the ground.
