Two questions regarding ACE thermal sniffler
1. What frequency do the US ones use?
2. Will it WORK if I bring it back to the UK?
3. Will it be LEGAL if I use it in the UK?
Tried searching on the internet for the above answers but could not.
Many thanks

As with most things legal or regulatory in nature, its generally easier to ask forgiveness than permission. And consider the low power output of the dinky little TX in a Thermal Sniffler.

Agree 100% with the approach :)
But will the sniffler frequency actually WORK in the UK?
Or is "all ether the same" if you know what i mean
Also will the thermal sniffler cause glitches in my plane RX/TX or that of others? - dont think so but wanted to have a second opinion

49MHz is 49Mz, regardless of which side of the pond you're on. I doubt there will be any problem with 35 or 40, the common Euro bands.

The two I have are on 433.x MHz. You may be able to look up a frequency chart via UK's equivalent of the FCC and see who (if anyone) is already on that band.
For reference, want to make sure you're talking about a vario ... I've heard thermal sniffler used interchangably with vario, but thought it wise to double check with you. I have the WsTech and the Skymelody.
